ATW COMPANIES ANNOUNCES EXPANDED CAPABILITIES AND INCREASED MANUFACTURING CAPACITY AT SHOTSHOW 2015
Robotic cells and lean initiatives significantly increase Metalform’s throughput
WARWICK, RI – ATW Companies, a leading provider of engineered metal manufacturing solutions, will be showcasing the expanding capabilities of its Metalform and Parmatech subsidiaries at the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) and Conference 2015, which takes place January 20-23, 2015 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, in Las Vegas, NV, Booth 2025.
Metalform, which has manufacturing and fabrication capabilities in deep-drawing, stamping, and pistol magazine fabrication expertise, is expected to continue its high growth level in 2015. Experts will be on hand to discuss how the company has expanded capabilities and improved quality with the introduction of robotic cells, which ensure precision and repeatability. The company will also highlight how the addition of new equipment and tooling, as well as the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives, is significantly increasing throughput
Parmatech, a leading supplier of custom manufactured metal injection molding components, doubled firearm component output at its Rhode Island facility in the past year and hopes to continue growth in the next year. The company installed two new furnaces in 2014, which have significantly increased its capacity.
